An educational course on how deceptive sexuality may result in trauma to the intimate partner or spouse, the relationship, children, and family system.

Be a Better Man 1: The Illumination Course, is a 28-Hour, 4-day, online live webinar that provides targeted psychoeducation for men on deceptive sexuality and the traumatic impacts that sexual acting out, patterns of infidelity, and cheating often have on the intimate partner, the relationship, and sometimes children and the family system. Dr. Minwalla uses his educational metaphor of taking participants on, “A medical school student rotation of the 22 Hospital Rooms”, each hospital room representing one of the specified 22 traumatic injuries and symptoms of deceptive sexuality trauma (DST-22). By revealing and validating the experiences of their intimate partners, participants gain an understanding of deceptive sexuality as a psychological abuse, and not just a sex problem. The primary objective here is illumination, helping men see more clearly the abuse, and shining a light on the 22 identified specific traumatic injuries and symptoms experienced by the intimate partner, relationship, children and family.

The Illumination Course is Dr. Minwalla shining a light on the traumatic injuries and symptoms that the intimate partner, or spouse, and the relationship(s) may experience from deceptive sexuality and integrity-abuse.

Be a Better Man 2: The Application Course

Confidential Psychoeducation for Men Curated by Dr. Minwalla.

Be a Better Man 2: The Application Course, is a 25-Hour, 3-day, then a follow-up 4th day, online live webinar that provides targeted education on how to work and develop a self-study and personal plan to work on decreasing integrity-abuse behaviors and problematic relational patterns with the goal of improving integrity and the ability to be more honest. The course also provides education on developing a path of masculine ego maturation, and how to better attend to reality and specifically the abusive-injured relationship(s), specifically working on being less callous, clumsy, and insensitive. Dr. Minwalla uses his educational metaphor of “Becoming Your Own Architect, designing a blueprint for constructing your Better Man Work Plan, but not being the Captain of your own Ship!”

The primary objective here is getting to work. Now that men see more clearly the abuse, and after shining a light on the traumatic impacts on other human beings in the Better Man 1 Illumination course, the next healthy step would be to develop a targeted plan of action, a work plan, and then work it as a Better Man Practice. A Better Man Work Plan and Practice is an organized conscious plan of action that is designed to decrease the integrity-abuse behaviors, how to work on developing capacities that help men become healthier and stronger, so they can learn how to move towards attending to those people and relationships impacted and harmed by integrity-abuse and deceptive sexuality trauma, better.
